Aircraft inspector resume questions
How should I list an IA on my resume?
Put it beside your A&P at the top, with the year earned if it helps. Then back it up in your experience with the inspections you signed off.
What keywords belong on an inspector resume?
Inspection types, quality assurance, audits, conformity, records review, corrective action, nondestructive testing and the regulatory parts you work under.
Can I move from mechanic to inspector with this resume?
Often, yes. Highlight inspection and sign-off experience you already have, any inspection training, and your attention to documentation. If you are working toward an authorization such as an IA, say it is in progress, not held.
