Senior Quality Multi-Family Manager

Position

The Boeing ODA team is looking for a Senior Multi-Family Manager to join the team in Seattle, WA. This is a Senior Manager role for the Seattle/Renton Inspection Unit with responsibilities for BT&E Labs and Flight Test. This position supports 737 Program Factory through Delivery Center.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage employees and first-level managers performing management activities across multiple Quality Management Job Families.
• Develop and execute business plans, policies, and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies.
• Provide education and coaching on the Quality System.
• Acquire and manage resources and lead process improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports.
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees and first-level managers.

Work Authorization

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Seattle, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

• 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry.
• 3+ years of experience in leadership, either formally or informally, leading teams in a cross-functional environment.
• 5+ years of experience working directly with the FAA.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience working with FAA-ODA Inspection Unit Members.
• Experience leading or supporting activities to attract, develop, and/or retain talent.
• Experience in either airplane development program processes or airplane programs products and processes.
• Experience facilitating commercial aviation industry best practices for operations, training & safety.
• Experience with customer interfacing responsibilities – understanding business requirements, laying out product and service solutions, and handling critical issue resolutions.
• Experience interfacing and communicating with business leadership, including C-level executives.
• Senior leadership experience reviewing, approving, and implementing process, budgeting, equipment, and service plans to maximize productivity and ensure safety, security, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in project/program management in the aviation industry.
• Experience developing and implementing strategic communications plans, including digital strategy, publishing, and metrics.
• Flight line experience.
• A&P License.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: $154,700 - $209,300.
