Description
- Perform expert-level maintenance and repairs on complex aerospace and defense systems.
- Diagnose and resolve the most challenging technical issues.
- Experience with Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) , LTV, or other military tactical vehicles.
- Experience supporting vehicle launch, validation, or early production efforts.
- Knowledge of Military /DoD/ DoW maintenance practices, MESL, or technical directives.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams during prototyping or product improvement cycles.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all field activities and equipment status.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Oversee inventory management for spare parts and tools.
- Generate comprehensive technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Travel extensively to customer sites, potentially including international locations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
- Advanced understanding of troubleshooting techniques.
- Provide technical support for computer systems and networks.
- Install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair various communication systems, including networks, cable distribution, COMSEC, and cryptographic devices.
- Focus in defense technology and aerospace domains, specifically targeting Radio Frequency (RF), Electronic Warfare (EW), Communications (Comms), and Tactical Networking.

- Experience collaborating with engineering teams during prototyping or product improvement cycles.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all field activities and equipment status.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Oversee inventory management for spare parts and tools.
- Generate comprehensive technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Travel extensively to customer sites, potentially including international locations.
- Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time.
- Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
- Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
- Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations
- Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location.
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required
- 60 hour work week.
- A United States Government Security Clearance is required for employment. Applicants who do not currently have a USG security clearance are welcome to apply and, if selected, will be processed for a USG security clearance by SNC prior to employment. Employment will begin once the USG security clearance is granted. If applicant is unable to obtain USG security clearance, the offer of employment will be withdrawn
- Associate's degree in a related field of study
- Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
- ASE certification (Automotive Service Excellence), ideally in diesel engines or medium/heavy truck.
- Experience supporting vehicle launch, validation, or early production efforts.
- Knowledge of DoD/DoW maintenance practices, MESL, or technical directives.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:
- Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
- Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
- Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors
- Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes
- Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
- Ocasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials
- Frequently exposed to loud noises
- Responsible for the safety and security of people or property
- Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles
- Performs aviation related duties
- Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery
