Description
SUMMARY
The F-16 Maintenance Supervisor plans and directs maintenance operations and ensures policy and procedures are followed to achieve established goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and assign program workloads as well as duties for entire shifts of workers performing aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modifications.
- Maintain knowledge of supply procedures, and Service Bulletins/Letters and Airworthiness Directives.
- Must be highly proficient in using technical data and drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.
- Must have knowledge of F-16 aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
- Knowledgeable in F-16 aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, disassembly, reassembly, rigging, and aircraft movement.
- Must be able to read and speak English, comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- All other duties as assigned.
