Description:
Performs scheduled/unscheduled inspections, minor/major maintenance, operational checkouts, and troubleshooting on assigned powered/non-powered type ground support equipment/vehicles.
What you will be responsible for:
- Performs daily flight line driving and servicing functions on simple components.
- Maintains documentation and time accounting systems associated with repairs (Track labor hours per job).
- Complies with all applicable technical orders and equipment manuals.
- Maintains immediate work area, facilities, and vehicles using good housekeeping and safety practices.
- Performs other duties as required.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles.
- Microsoft Office basics.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting.
- Willingness to learn industry-related software.
- Ability to operate common and special hand and power tools.
- Ability to work both as a team and/or independently with great success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
