We are hiring immediately for an Avionics Technician.
What you will be doing as an Avionics Technician:
In this role, you can expect to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of avionics systems on board aircraft at a Textron Aviation Service Center. Your expertise will ensure the safety and efficiency of our aircraft. Join us and play a crucial role in maintaining top-notch aviation standards.
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Functional Testing : Isolate and repair avionics system issues based on customer complaints, following FAA procedures
Problem Diagnosis : Analyze in-flight data and customer feedback to diagnose and correct issues
Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve defects in units or wiring discrepancies
Component Replacement : Replace defective units, repair wiring, and modify aircraft as needed
Flight Testing : Accompany pilots to conduct functional tests on repaired or aligned systems as needed
Instruction Compliance : Perform duties based on aircraft orders, wiring diagrams, and both oral and written instructions
Qualifications
What you need to be successful:
A high school diploma or a GED is required
A minimum 2 years experience in aircraft avionics system troubleshooting and repair is required
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification is helpful
Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, it applicable is required
