Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Entry Level (AMT)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Entry Level FULL-TIME Opportunity in Sparta, TN

• Starting Salary: $65,240 annually

We’re hiring an Entry Level Aircraft Maintenance Technician to assist senior AMTs responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) while they perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections and repairs.
• Assist with inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment.
• Assist with document service paperwork and FAA information as required, adhering to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors, and team members using appropriate communication methods.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow AMTs and the operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State issued Driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Ability to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Airbus and/or Bell products or equivalent.
• FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
• Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135.
• Autopilot maintenance experience.
• Willingness to learn avionics and electrical repair experience.
• Experience with EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
