KC-46 Lead Repair/Modifications Technician

Job Description Summary

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a KC-46 Lead Repair/Modifications Technician in direct support of KC-46A Pegasus Integrated Sustainment Program at Pease Air National Guard Base (ANGB) Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead the assembly, disassembly and modification of systems by overseeing the change, removal, replacement or upgrade of aircraft components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and environmental processes (FOD control, tool control, health & safety).
• Directs troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Oversee validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
• Inspect, component, and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
• Understand and interpret required engineering drawings, instructions and technical specifications to advise technicians.
• Provide training and mentor others.
• Work with minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices.
• Ability to travel 15%-25% of the time both domestically and internationally.
• Must be willing and able to work variable shifts (1st and/or 2nd based on business needs) to include nights, weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.
• KC-46 / 767 experience.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $82,450 - $111,550.
