Description
Job Functions:
- Conduct/oversee the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment, and associated components in accordance with Company manuals, manufacturer’s manuals, policies, Procedures Bulletins, and Orders.
- Sign for work accomplished and oversee other non-ATI individuals/contractors working on ATI aircraft at remote locations; “buy-back” the work if required.
- Ensure the safety of the aircraft while at remote sites and make sure all work is accomplished in accordance with FAA and Company procedures.
- Remain alert for defective, worn, or failed parts and unsafe working conditions, reporting these to the assigned flight crew.
- Ensure that the aircraft’s assigned Spare Parts Kit (SPK) is fully stocked and that required materials and parts are available for the scheduled mission.
- Work with various Company hired agents throughout the world to procure maintenance services and support for aircraft repairs.
- Keep Maintenance Control fully apprised of the aircraft's status and provide copies of all completed log pages directly to Maintenance Control.
- Conduct housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the assigned aircraft.
- Assume the duties, responsibilities, and authority of the Maintenance Supervisor when mechanics are utilized and work under the Line Maintenance Supervisor responsible for that station.
- Be directly responsible to the Director of Quality Control when exercising authority under the RII provisions of this manual.
- Attend all Company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
What you will need:
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven line maintenance experience on 767/757 aircraft.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must successfully complete a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers; stand, bend, reach to maintain files; sit for extended periods; and comply with ATI attendance requirements.
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
- Valid passport and Driver’s License.
- Ability to travel as the needs of the airline dictate (may require travel up to 3 weeks per month).
Preferred:
- B 757/767 aircraft; Parts 121, 125, 145; Heavy transport category aircraft experience.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb up to 3 flights of stairs, and work at heights up to 80 feet and from ladders up to 10 feet.
