Description

Job Functions:

  • Conduct/oversee the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment, and associated components in accordance with Company manuals and procedures.
  • Sign for work accomplished and oversee non-ATI individuals/contractors working on ATI aircraft at remote locations, ensuring work complies with FAA and Company procedures for safety.
  • Remain vigilant for defective, worn, or failed parts as well as unsafe working conditions, and report these immediately to the assigned flight crew.
  • Ensure the aircraft’s assigned Spares Parts Kit (SPK) is fully stocked to support the scheduled mission.
  • Work with various Company hired agents to procure maintenance services and support worldwide; act as the Company agent if no agent is available.
  • Keep Maintenance Control apprised of the aircraft's status and provide copies of all completed log pages directly to them.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the assigned aircraft, ensuring responsibilities are fulfilled even if third parties are involved.
  • Assume the duties, responsibilities, and authority of the Maintenance Supervisor when utilized at any location.
  • Be directly responsible to the Director of Quality Control when exercising authority under RII provisions.
  • Attend all Company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.

What you will need:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven line maintenance experience on 767/757 aircraft.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successfully complete a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers, stand, bend, and reach to maintain files, sit for extended periods, and comply with ATI attendance requirements.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
  • A valid passport and Driver’s License.
  • Ability to travel as the needs of the airline dictate (may require travel up to 3 weeks per month).

Preferred:

  • Experience with B 757/767 aircraft; Parts 121, 125, 145; Heavy transport category aircraft.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb up to 3 flights of stairs. Must be able to work at heights up to 80 feet and from ladders up to 10 feet.
