Description
Job Functions:
- Conduct/oversee the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment, and associated components in accordance with Company manuals and manufacturer's manuals.
- Sign for work accomplished and oversee non-ATI individuals/contractors working on ATI aircraft at remote locations, ensuring safety and compliance with FAA and Company procedures.
- Remain alert for defective, worn, or failed parts and unsafe working conditions, reporting these immediately to the flight crew.
- Ensure the aircraft's assigned Spares Parts Kit (SPK) is fully stocked and that required materials and parts are available for scheduled missions.
- Work with Company hired agents at various locations to procure maintenance services, acting as a Company agent if none are available.
- Keep Maintenance Control fully apprised of aircraft status and provide copies of completed log pages directly to Maintenance Control.
- Conduct housekeeping duties to ensure the assigned aircraft is clean and presentable.
- Assume the duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor when mechanics are utilized.
- Exercise authority under the RII provisions of the manual, reporting directly to the Director of Quality Control.
- Attend all Company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
What you will need:
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven line maintenance experience on 767/757 aircraft.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
- Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers; stand, bend, and reach to maintain files; sit for extended periods; and comply with ATI attendance requirements.
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
- Valid passport and Driver’s License.
- Ability to travel as the needs of the airline dictate (may require travel up to 3 weeks per month).
Preferred:
- Experience with B 757/767 aircraft; Parts 121, 125, 145; and heavy transport category aircraft.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb up to 3 flights of stairs. Must be able to work at heights up to 80 feet and from ladders up to 10 feet.
