Overview

Air Transport International is seeking qualified Maintenance Representatives to conduct and oversee aircraft maintenance and repairs at remote locations. This role involves ensuring the safety and compliance of aircraft operations in accordance with company and FAA procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct/oversee the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft communication equipment.
  • Sign for accomplished work and oversee non-ATI individuals/contractors working on ATI aircraft.
  • Maintain the safety of aircraft at remote sites, ensuring adherence to FAA and Company procedures.
  • Identify and report defective, worn, or failed parts and unsafe working conditions to the flight crew.
  • Ensure aircraft’s Spares Parts Kit (SPK) is fully stocked and that necessary materials are available.
  • Work with Company agents or act as Company agent to procure support/equipment for aircraft repair.
  • Keep Maintenance Control apprised of aircraft status and provide copies of completed log pages.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of assigned aircraft.
  • Assume duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor at locations where mechanics are utilized.
  • Be responsible to the Director of Quality Control when exercising authority under the RII provisions.
  • Attend all Company training classes assigned by the Director of Maintenance.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven line maintenance experience on 767/757 aircraft.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must successfully complete a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers; must be able to stand, bend, reach, and sit for extended periods.
  • Must hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
  • Must have a valid passport and Driver’s License.
  • Ability to travel as needed, which may require travel up to 3 weeks per month.

Preferred

  • Experience with B 757/767 aircraft; Parts 121, 125, 145; Heavy transport category aircraft experience.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb up to 3 flights of stairs, and work at heights up to 80 feet from ladders up to 10 feet.
