Description

Overview

This position involves overseeing the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft communication equipment at various remote locations. The goal is to ensure aircraft safety and serviceability in accordance with company policies and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct/oversee maintenance and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and related equipment.
  • Sign for work accomplished and oversee non-ATI individuals/contractors working on aircraft.
  • Ensure all work follows FAA and company procedures to guarantee aircraft safety.
  • Be vigilant for defective, worn, or failed parts and unsafe working conditions.
  • Maintain a fully stocked Spares Parts Kit (SPK) and ensure materials are available for scheduled missions.
  • Work with company agents to procure maintenance services and support as needed.
  • Keep Maintenance Control updated on aircraft status and provide copies of log pages.
  • Exercise maintenance authority and responsibilities as needed, working with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned aircraft, potentially utilizing third-party services.
  • Assume the duties of the Maintenance Supervisor when mechanics are present.
  • Directly report to the Director of Quality Control while exercising authority under the RII provisions.
  • Attend company training classes as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven line maintenance experience on 767/757 aircraft.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Must hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
  • Valid passport and Driver’s License required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed; may require travel up to 3 weeks per month.

Preferred:

  • Experience with B 757/767 aircraft, Parts 121, 125, 145; Heavy transport category aircraft.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb up to 3 flights of stairs. Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet and from ladders up to 10 feet is required.
