Description

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee complex aircraft inspections.
Develop and implement inspection protocols.
Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of findings.
Address and resolve significant compliance issues.
Lead training and mentorship programs for junior inspectors.
Conduct periodic audits of maintenance processes.

Qualifications You Must Have:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Typically 10 or more years of relevant experience.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
No prior FAA violations
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work location
Thorough knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and components.
Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.
Understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures.
Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
Typically, 7+ years in a 145 Repair Station environment.
Ability to understand and interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation
Ability to obtain a repairman Certification
Basic understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1
Experience with Corridor ERP software
Computerized maintenance tracking system experience, (CAMP, Traxall, Cescom, etc.)
Heavy repair, modification and inspection of both metallic and composite structures experience.
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

Essential Functions:

Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
Stand, walk, and climb ladders or stairs frequently.
Work in diverse environmental conditions.
