We’re hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support our Bell 407 and EC135 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, and place replacement requests when necessary.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bell 407 and EC135 maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State issued Driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Understanding of EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Inspection Authorization Certification.
• Related experience under CFR Part 135.
• Autopilot maintenance experience.
• Avionics and electrical repair experience.
