What you will be doing as an Aircraft Assembly Mechanic:

In this role, you can expect to use aviation mechanic skillsets to assemble, install, and rework cutting-edge mechanical and electrical aircraft systems. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced operators, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Join us and be a part of a team that creates the future of flight!

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

  • Blueprint Execution: Follow airplane orders, blueprints, and engineering specs to assemble and install major aircraft structures, landing gear systems, and optional equipment
  • Engine Accessory Installation: Install and rework engine accessories, including oil and fuel pumps, generators, and hydraulic and vacuum pumps
  • Electrical Systems: Service, install, and adjust radios, electrical, and avionics systems, recommending essential changes as needed
  • Tool Utilization: Use hand tools like screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and rivet guns, along with measuring devices such as scales
  • Sheet Metal Repair: Repair and rework sheet metal parts, performing operations like cutting, drilling, countersinking, and riveting

Requirements/Qualifications

What you need to be successful:

  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
  • At least 6 months of related experience such as final assembly, sheet metal assembly, or radio and electrical repair is required
