ABX Receiving Inspector (CVG)

Overview

The Receiving Inspector will have the overall responsibility for maintaining the quality of ABX material received; inspect for quality, mechanical and structural soundness of aircraft components; validate documentation and source approval; update all regulatory compliance records in the ABX maintenance content management system as they pertain to aircraft components.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• A&P License
• Five years in all aspects of large aircraft maintenance (121, 135) with in-depth knowledge of aircraft materials/components
• Ability to work independently and interpret task instructions related to repair specifications
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in computer applications, specifically spreadsheets and databases
• Working knowledge of ATA chapters
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, and blueprints

Preferred Skills

• Previous auditing experience
• Experience with computer transactions
