Description

Overview

The Field Supervisor will supervise all full-time, part-time, casual Line Maintenance Representatives and Contractors in assigned geographical regions in various aspects of aircraft maintenance including aircraft maintenance support functions such as station inventory, station parts and tooling associations, de-icing, ground support equipment maintenance, and all other functions relative to out-base line maintenance stations to ensure compliance with ABX maintenance operational standards and to maintain reliability standards. The role will involve performing all supervisory functions including hiring, firing, counseling, training, disciplining, providing budget input, planning work assignments, etc. This position will also require interfacing with other supervisors/management, assisting with new station openings, relocations or contracts, and performing related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise full-time, part-time, casual Line Maintenance Representatives and Contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with ABX maintenance operational standards and reliability standards.
  • Perform all supervisory functions, including:
    • Hiring
    • Firing
    • Counseling
    • Training
    • Disciplining
    • Providing budget input
    • Planning work assignments
  • Interface with other supervisors/management.
  • Assist with new station openings, relocations or contracts.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Must have HSD/GED.
  • A&P License.
  • 8 years Heavy Jet Experience.
  • 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to successfully complete ABX required training in aircraft run up and taxi, initial system training, general maintenance training, and other training programs appropriate for the position.
  • Strong communication, organizational record keeping, planning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively.

Preferred Skills

  • 767/757 Genfam training.
  • 767 maintenance experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish).
