Description

SUMMARY: The Aircraft Reliability Analyst uses statistical analysis to monitor aircraft performance and safety, ensuring that data-driven insights lead to continual improvements in maintenance practices, system preferences, and operational procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the airline with statistical data
  • Process analysis and reporting to maintain and improve reliability on-time performance and airline safety
  • Monitor, query, collect, organize, and analyze aircraft systems, structures, powerplant, and component reliability data
  • Analyze data for trends
  • Monitor performance and make recommendations to improve component specifications, aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and airline procedures
  • Perform analysis and prepare reports for ad-hoc reporting to senior management
  • Coordinate and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reliability reporting requirements to include FAA reporting, time series trends, histograms, pareto charts, etc.
  • Prepare, support, conduct and/or present information at monthly airline CASS and Reliability meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have HSD/GED
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in FAR 121 Reliability Department or similar environment
  • Minimum 6 years maintenance experience with large aircraft, 4 years as technician
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Aviation/Aircraft Technology, Management or Engineering can apply to technician or maintenance experience
  • Skilled with PC programs, MS Office, Word, Excel, Access, and other databases
  • Ability to categorize discrepancies and correction actions in accordance with ATA Spec 100/2200
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Good analytical, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated with positive attitude
  • Willing to work additional time if needed to meet deadlines

PREFERRED:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in aviation field
  • College level courses in statistics and/or reliability
  • Experience with computerized aircraft maintenance programs
  • Boeing 767 support or maintenance experience
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
  • Airbus A330 experience
