Description
We are hiring immediately for a full time A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic or AMT (Aircraft Maintenance Technician). This is for a First Shift (0700 - 1530).
Responsibilities
You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Mechanical Duties: Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery.
- Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines.
- Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
Qualifications
What you need to be successful:
- High school education or GED required.
- A&P License required.
- Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
- A minimum of 2 years experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.

At Textron Aviation, base pay is only one of the parts of our Total Rewards package and is determined within a range. This provides you the opportunities to grow and develop within your role, and depends on your experience, qualifications, and location.
This role is eligible for up to a $15,000 (pre-tax) sign-on bonus based on level of experience. Terms & conditions apply. The Company reserves the right to amend or suspend this program at any time.
Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $41.98 - $51.32 per hour.
