Job Summary

Based in Maui or Oahu, this is a unique opportunity to lead maintenance for one of Hawaii’s most recognized helicopter operations. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters has been providing aerial experiences in Hawaii for more than 40 years, taking guests above some of the islands’ most extraordinary landscapes, from volcanic terrain and rainforests to waterfalls, valleys, and remote coastlines. Behind every flight is a maintenance organization committed to ensuring each aircraft is safe, airworthy, and ready to deliver an exceptional experience.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Director of Maintenance will play a critical leadership role in that mission, serving as the Responsible Manager for the Part 135 air carrier and Accountable Manager for the Part 145 repair station.

This is more than a traditional Director of Maintenance position. It is an opportunity to lead a critical function supporting an operation that gives guests a perspective of Hawaii few experiences can offer while ensuring the highest standards of safety and airworthiness remain at the center of every flight.
